You're Gonna Spoil your appetite is a 2 and a half dimensional, pop-up sculptural piece about a pleasant bunch of monsters who go on a picnic but seem incapable of seeing, or accessing the banquet spread out in front of them. They end up eating whatever they can get their hands on, and consequently spoil their appetite. It is an abstract expression of my own complicated relationship with food.

Separating the characters to be elevated at different heights in the final piece, and colouring them in in Adobe Photoshop:

Then I printed out the separated characters, cut them out and arranged them to create a 2 and a half dimensional sculpture with 9 different elevated layers to create a sense of depth in the otherwise flat line work based composition.
